End of OEM with Tukatech

OptiTex software version 8.94

OptiTex willingly calls back Tukatech/OptiTex software version 8.94. 

It is the OptiTex customer policy to include an installation CD for each order placed with OptiTex for a new system or upgrade from an older system. Recently, it has been brought to the attention of OptiTex that many Tukatech customers did not receive installation CDs with their product and could not identify the modules purchased due to missing menus. Such discrepancies resulted in the inability to upgrade their OptiTex’s systems.

Customers who carry Tukatech/OptiTex software version 8.94 and higher should follow the instructions below or contact OptiTex immediately for further instructions: optitex.int@optitex.com

1. Identify your software version number.
2. Identify your plug number and installed modules.
3. List out your options for upgrades and purchases from the original software vendor - OptiTex.

How to identify your software version number?

1. In the 'Help' menu, select the option 'About [Company Name]' option

2 .A dialog box will appear with the version number installed and date of release.   If you have a later version than version 8.93 dated 30-Sep-2003. please contact our US office optitex.usa@optitex.com as soon as possible for further instructions.

How to identify your plug number and installed modules?

1. In the 'Help' menu select the 'Check Plug Protection…' (if available).
If you can't see this option, please contact our US office, optitex.usa@optitex.com

2. A Dialog box will appear, containing all your plug information (plug/installation number and modules you`ve purchased, marked with a sign).

Please take note of this information or a screen capture of the dialog box (using the 'Print Screen' key on your keyboard) and paste the image to an email. Please send the email to optitex.usa@optitex.com and make sure to include your full company information.
