Petach Tikva, Israel, and Montreal, October 05, 2007 – Yoram Burg, the president of OptiTex USA, is a featured speaker on the panel discussing “An Extreme Makeover of Product Creation and Merchandizing” at the World Conference on Mass Customization and Personalization. The panel will be from 14:30-15:15, Thursday, October 11, during the conference at HEC Montreal.

OptiTex, widely regarded as the leader in the field of mass customization and visualization for the textile industry, will discuss how its software facilitates the design processes of WEB customers such as Bernina, Brides.com, and Virtual Product Presentation.

“I’m delighted at the opportunity to share our vision of the future of mass customization,” says Burg. “Our clients are the heavy hitters in their sectors, and we’re proud of how our partnerships have helped them bring their many products to market in the most cost-effective way possible.”

The OptiTex platform provides a wide range of options in its design software, which leverages 3D models, eliminating the limitations of standard production technology. Entire textile lines can now be created virtually, eliminating wasted material and speeding products to market. Innovative advantages such as these provide OptiTex’s partners with rapid ROI.

“Our new made-to-measure utility allows clothing and textile-based products to transform every pattern to MTM,” concludes Burg. “Its user-friendly, layered system provides the widest range of parameters on the market. This is why leading companies such as Bernina International have chosen to use OptiTex technology.”
