The MCPC conference (World Conference on Mass Customization & Personalization) series started out as a biennial conference devoted to Mass Customization & Personalization. The content has broadened in recent years, including also open innovation, user co-creation and other strategies of customer-driven value creation. But mass customization is still the main trend that drives the success of the MCPC conferences, bringing together hundreds of the world's most remarkable people in the field.

The previous MCPC 2007 was co-organized by MIT Media Lab, MIT Design Lab, and the MIT Smart Customization Group, followed by a Business Seminar at HEC Business School Montreal.
