Instructions:
- Enter the number of styles per year requiring samples
- Enter sum of ALL costs of a sample: Shipping costs, Courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS), Material, Labor, Storage, Model Time, Phone, Fax, e-mail, Power, software and all other expanses.
- Enter the number of final required physical samples per style. (This is usually a single sample)
- Enter the number of physical samples and iterations each style receives. This includes size fittings, color ways, pre approval samples and others.
Calculation details:
- The number of styles manufactured per year X cost per sample X (sum of absolute final samples + number of iterations per sample).
- After installing 3D Runway Designer, costs are reduced to only the number of final sample each style requires X cost per sample X number of styles per year. An extra unknown factor was added here of 0.5 - this is to factor `X` additional samples due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Calculated the difference of using 3D Runway Designer and not. This is the estimated savings a company can have if using 3D Runway Designer.
