Objectives for developing the Player

The Viewer enable quick view of pds files. The viewer consist of two splitter windows that “remember” they sizes and positions in all parent application. The viewer enable to view all pieces in the file together as one by one. This option also right for printing, plotting, arrange to plot operations. Also it's enable to change such show properties of the viewer as viewing the names, points, stitches, fill color and so on. User can open any new pds file within the viewer and from windows explorer. It's enable to run between the files in the current folder within the viewer.

Dialog Explanation

How it works embedded in PDS

1. Press File->Merge Style File…
2. Merge File dialog appear.
3. Choose one ore more pieces and press apply and merge mechanism should be run.
4. The viewer has ability drag and drop one or more pieces from preview window or from list of pieces to run the merge.

How it works in windows shell

1. Press RBM on PDS file.
2. “Open with OptiTex Viewer” in drop window appear.
3. Press it to run the viewer.

Current capabilities

• It has additional tools for printing, plotting, arrange to plot operations.
• Enable to change such show properties of the viewer as viewing the names, points, stitches, fill color and so on.
• User can open any new pds file within the viewer and from windows explorer.
• It's enable to run between the files in the current folder within the viewer.
• Ability to open Marker files and view window of sizes in current file.

Version 11 - Output Limitations

• File Formats Available: PDS, PDML, MRK, MRKML.
• OptiTex viewer output is not plug dependent.
