Video Example
General:
- The Algotex application requires the use of a special patterned and translucent Algotex paper.
- Every time you press the tip of the pen on this paper, a pair of coordinates is stored in the pen’s memory.
- You may also hit one of the numbered boxes scattered at the edges of the paper (see the detail of each button in the next session) .
- On the edge of the digitizer map there are 8 buttons. Each button defines the mode the points will be marked as.
Buttons Definition
Button 1: Contour points (default button)
- Click main contour points. (3 points minimum). First contour will always be a closed external contour.
- To indicate the end of a closed contour, click its first point.
- Next point marked will be the beginning of the next closed/non closed contour.
- To indicate the end of a non-closed contour- click on any numbered button.
Button 2: Curved Points
To define curve points on contour:
- Click the first point where the segment should start its curve.
- Click the last point where the segment should end its curve do this always in a clockwise manner.
- All points between these two points will be curve points.
Button 3: Grade Points
To define a grading point on the last entered contour.
Button 4: Notch
To add notches on the last entered contour.
Button 5: Baseline
Click two points to define the first and last points of the baseline. (The default baseline will be a horizontal line).
Button 6: Buttons
Use this button to mark the buttons place in the piece. The button will be marked with a default size.
Button 7: Circles
Two marks in this mode will draw a circle. The first mark will define the center of the circle. The second click will define the radius.
Button 8: Next piece
Press this button at the end of each piece digitizing, and start next piece (not required for last piece). You can digitize several pieces by pressing button 8 at the end of each piece.
