Use the Dart Tool 
to close excess and shift it to an existing dart

Operation
- Select the Dart Tool
- Select the Dart's tip
- Shift + Click on the start point of the segment you wish to close and transfer.
- Select the end point of the excess segment
- Hold Alt to open the distance window

- Distance
- Set the distance on contour between first and last point of the excess segment.
