PDS:Trace Zone Tool

Use the Trace Zone tool to create Zones. This tool operates similarly to the Build Piece Tool. However, instead of creating a piece, it creates a zone (which can then be Created and Corrected).
Note that unlike a segment, a zone can be traced only on a single piece, and only if the internal contours are Snapped to the contour.

Operation
- Invoke the Trace Zone tool.
- Click on the segments required to create the zone.
- Once the zone is created, you can change it through the Piece Properties.
1. Original pants back piece
2. Trace the zone by clicking on the confining segments
3. The selected area is Highlighted. Keep clicking on the segments...

8. Continue defining zones (e.g., the belt)
10. The pieces are Moved aside. On the right – the map; on the left – the piece from the map
11. The belt was Disconnected, the dart was Closed, and its segments were Smoothed. The buttons on the bottom piece were Added
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Delete – deletes the last traced segment.

13. The last traced segment is deselected, and the mouse 'jumps' to the first point
