PDS:Table Of Sizes

Every PDS file can have only one base size, but can have many additional sizes. The names of the sizes have no relevance to the geometry or grading – they serve only the user's convenience.

Operation

V10

Sizes Tab

1. Five sizes inserted before the Base size, and two sizes added after it
2. Rename the first size by selecting the Name field and editing it
3. The change is shown on the Grading Table

Insert/ Append

Enter the number of sizes that should appear below/ above the selected size.

4. Default view of a file with no sizes defined
5. Enter the number of required sizes below the Base size
6. Click Insert
7. Repeat these steps to 'Append' sizes above the Base size

Delete

Deletes the selected size. The base size can't be deleted. To change a base size, simply set a different number as the base size.

Break Size <=>

This button is identical to the Regrade All By Break Size command. You can set sizes to act as Size breakers when using the Regrade By Break Size command. The smallest, biggest and base size are always set to be Size Breakers.

Change Size Order

10. Enables you to change the size order
11. The order was corrected (Small, Medium, Large)

Color

Changes the size Color. Note that different settings in the Preferences may override these colors.

12. Select the color from the color bar

Name

Changes the size name. Apart from convenience, there is no geometrical/ grading meaning to these names.

Line Type/ Thick

Select the line type and thickness per size. Thickness can be changed only for the Solid line type. These changes allow you to easily distinguish between sizes. Note that these changes have no effect on the Plot.

Base

Set a single size to be the base size. Note that every file must and can have only one base size.

Delete Current Size

Enter the number of sizes that should appear below/ above the selected size.
