PDS:Smooth Tool

Use the Smooth tool to reshape a Curved segment by changing the points that Support the segment.

Icon & Location

• Toolbox: Contour
• Toolbar: Contour
• Menu: Design > Contour

Operation

1. Select the Smooth tool.
2. Select the curved segment (contour or internal contour) to be smoothed.
3. Select the points that should be enabled to create the curve.
4. Press Shift + left click to complete the smoothing operation.

4. Click on the grading point in order to 'free' it

5. The Work Chain shows the current smoothed segment

6. Click on any point

7. Press Shift+left click to set the smooth segment

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Shift+ left click – applies the 'smoothed' segment. This is the same as right click> Set Smooth.
