Use the Print command to send pieces to a printer. Since the Printer drivers are part of Microsoft Windows, the OptiTex software displays the printer driver(s) that was (were) selected when Microsoft Windows was installed.
The Print command uses Windows printer drivers and spoolers; therefore, the output device must be defined through the Windows Setup before you begin printing.

[edit] Operation

  1. Invoke the 'Print'.
  2. Select the desired printing options.
  3. Click OK.

[edit] Fit to Page

Select Fit to Page to print the contents of the file on one page. This is the default setting for printing.

[edit] Scale

Select Scale to print the contents of the file to a specified scale. For example, a scale of 1 is 100%, and a scale of .50 is 50%.

[edit] Width

Enter a number in the Width box to specify a width for the print out. When a width is specified, the scale changes accordingly.

[edit] Height

Enter a number in the Height box to specify a height for the print out. When a height is specified, the scale changes accordingly.

[edit] Print Current Piece Only

Check this option to print only the selected piece.

[edit] Print Piece In One Frame

This option prints each piece within the size of one page whenever possible instead of printing across multiple pages.

[edit] Use Color Printing

Check this option to print the piece outline with its color attributes.

[edit] Print Continuous

Uncheck this option to display the splicing marks on the print layout, to indicate the assemblage points between frames.

[edit] Setup

Click the Setup button to define the printer format. Refer to the Printer Setup section for more information.
