Dialog Explanation

Automatic re-seam

Updates the seam automatically after the contour is changed.

Automatically update the notches

Updates the notch on the seam automatically after a notch is added or changed. When Automatic Reseam (see above) is enabled, this option is enabled by default.

Generate unique names for new pieces

New pieces created by the Draft tool, Digitizer, build operations... will be given names automatically by the system.

Remove used internal contour after fold out

Removes the internal contour after the Fold Out operation has been performed.

Add a center button to a new piece

Creates a button in the middle of every new piece (but not on existing pieces).

Add a point on both contours of overlapped pieces

Creates a point on both overlapping pieces at the point of intersection when a point is added.

Create an axis line when using the 'open half'

After Open Half a pleat line replaces the line of symmetry.

Define piece as protected after 'open half'

After using Open Half, the piece is automatically Protected.

When The Style Name Is Empty, Use The File Name As The Default Name

Uses the file name as the Style name when the Style Name is empty.

Save the base line position even after using the 'open half' tool

Keeps the baseline in place after Open Half.

Allow overlapping piece to be selected

Allows you to select the contained piece when pieces are overlapping.

Show all the selected internals while using the 'move internal' tool

Shows all the internals that are moved using the Move And Copy Internal Tool. If the option is disabled, only a single internal is shown.

Split Internal Contours after open closed Darts and Pleats

Before opening a closed dart/pleat, all intersected internal contours will be slip-up.

Set all the non-curve points to grading points when there's only one size

Automatically sets non-curved points as grading points in a file with one size only.

Create Seam after Cut Piece Operation

Opens the 'Create Seam' dialog after a piece is cut using any cutting operation (e.g. Cut Tool, Cut Along Internal Tool or Cut By Guide Line).

Retain Style Sets During Merge

Imports the style sheets of the merged pieces to the current file after merging pieces which are included in style set/s.

Create Merged Style Set

Creates a new style set that includes all merged pieces after the Merge operation has been performed.

Piece Description Text Default Properties

Click the Adjust button in the Piece Properties window to adjust the piece's description according to these defaults.

Minimum Size

Sets the minimum size of the description text. The size or the description text is determined according to the minimum values and to the actual piece size.

Maximum Size

Sets the maximum size of the description text. The size or the description text is determined according to the maximum values and to the actual piece size.

Parallel To Baseline

Draws the Description Text parallel to the baseline.

Centered According To Baseline

Aligns the Description Text according to the center of the baseline.

Add the paste sign @ to piece Description

Add @ sign to the Description field of a duplicated piece (Copy and Paste), in addition to the @ sign in the Name field.

Paste Copy Sign

• Sign added in the beginning of a copied piece name, when the piece is copied or paste to the same file.
• Use it to distinguished between the original piece and its replica.

Pre-Defined list of signs

• To add more character to the pre-defined list of sign , edit the entry "PasteCopySign=" in the OptiTex11.ini file.
  • Enter any sign you would like, or leave it empty for no sign to be added to the piece name.

Show Piece Description Text in non-flipped form

If the Piece description angle is between 90 and 270 degrees, it will display in a 90 or -90 degree.
