Use the Preferences menu to control the settings for the build, trace, build map and trace map tools.

Dialog Explanation
Create Pieces without internals in 'Build and 'Trace'
Internals from The overlapping contours in 'Build' and 'Trace'
When Using The 'Build' And 'Trace' Tools, Create any overlapping contours as internals when building pieces.

Add Internal Darts In 'Cut', 'Build' And 'Trace' Piece
Adds darts with their top inside the building piece and border points outside of it.

Note that if, after the original piece creations, a modification is made to the dart information: it is required to re-create the pieces from the map zone to keep the proper geometry.
Automatically correct the Map's pieces.
Automatically changes pieces created from the Map when any changes are made to the geometry, grading, or notches of the 'Map zone'.

'Create pieces by zones' includes the internals
Creates also the map's internals when creating pieces from the 'Map zone'.

Copy Holes while creating pieces by Map zones
Creates a Hole in map zone piece when internal closed contour is defined as CUT command.

Maintain the base line direction after 'Correct piece by map zone'
- Maintains the base line direction of the Map Piece according to the base line direction of the Map Zone Connected Piece.
- This option is used when rotating the pieces and updating the map.
- In some cases the baseline angle might change.
Using long complex contours in Build Piece
Ignore Flip Internals of Fold In area
Restore Internals Position after Fold In and Fold Out
Cut internal contour in Fold In
Show Preview in Fold In tool
- When using the Fold In tool, a temporary visual line will display while traveling along the contour of the piece.
- This preference gives you a preview of the fold, before you accept to apply the change.
Copy Internals of Fold Out area
- Create new internals from the Fold Out command. All internals positioned between the Fold-In line and the Fold-Out contour will be copied.
- Note that the copy operation will repeat for each Fold-Out command. Turn-off the preference, when not needed.
Save Fold Out Internal Contour
- Create a new internal line from the Fold-in contour line, when Folding-Out.
- Copies the contour shape that was Folded-in and then Folded-out.
Create Pleat between two Fold Out points
- Create a Pleat Line from the Fold-Out line.
