PDS:Points Cleanup

Use the Points Cleanup command to remove redundant non-grading points from curved segments. This command is usually used when there are too many points, which distort the shape. This command is the converse of the Add Spline Support Points.

Location
- Menu Piece > Points Cleanup (Ctrl+Q)
Operation
- Select one or more piece(s).
- Invoke the Points Cleanup command. The Points Cleanup dialog box is displayed.
- Select the appropriate options in the dialog box.
- Click OK to perform the cleanup.
Common Usage Example
1. The original piece, with several non-grading points on the curved segments
2. Select the appropriate options
3. The non-grading points are removed, but the shape is still maintained
Dialog Explanation
Delete Non-Grading Points Only
When disabled, grading points are also deleted.
