PDS:Open Half

Opening the symmetrical half piece/s allows you to:
- View the piece/s in full mode without the internal grid. To protect the piece/s from asymmetrical changes, the piece/s are automatically set as Protected.
- Make asymmetrical modifications to the piece/s by unchecking the Protected attribute from the piece/s properties.

Operation
- Select the half piece/s you wish to open.
- Invoke the Open Half command.
- To open all the half pieces in the file/ on the working area, hold down the Shift key while selecting the Open Half command.
- The Open Half Pieces dialog is displayed.
- Select your prefered option.
- Click OK.
- The axis can be automatically added after invoking Open Half by checking this preference.
- To disable the automatic protection of the piece uncheck this preference.
1. Back and Front pieces are set as half
2. The selected Front piece is now open
3. Determine which pieces you wish to open
4. By checking the option 'All pieces on working area', both the Front piece and Back piece were opened
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Shift – opens the Open Half Pieces dialog.
