PDS:Move Sub-Segment Tool

Move a segment without changing a specified sub-segment (a smaller segment) Select the containing segment, and then the sub-segment

Operation

1. Invoke the Move Sub-Segment tool.
2. Select the container segment.
3. Select the contained segment (the sub-segment).
4. Move the sub-segment.

Common Usage Example

1. The container segment

2. Sub-segment

3. Move the sub-segment

4. The sub-Segment remains unchanged

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Alt - Open the 'PDS:Move Point Dialog', if it was disabled in the preferences
• Shift – Rotate the sub-segment
