This article describes the behavior of pieces which are merged together. Merging can be done as a result of Copy/ Paste of pieces with different sizes deifned; or using the Merge Style File.

Merge Mode

Style With Sizes And Style Without Sizes

In this case the 'Merge both sizes list' will be disabled, since the second style has no sizes.

3. Merged style (top) with sizes, Original Style (bottom) without sizes - i.e. two different styles
4. 'Use Current Size list'
5. 'Use Merge Size list'

Both Styles With Same Sizes

The dialog will not open, and both of the styles sizes will remain unchanged.

6. Merging just added the pieces from one style to another, with no change in the 'Table of Sizes'

Style With Sizes And Style With Same Sizes But Different Base Size

7. Merged style (top) with sizes, Original Style (bottom) with sizes – but S1 is the base size

Merge Style With Sizes And Style With Different Sizes Names

10. Merged style (top) with sizes, Original Style (bottom) with same number of sizes, Base size in the same location, but the sizes names are different

Delete Variation Grading

Delete variation grading, and keep only a single set of sizes.
