PDS:Hole To Piece / Piece To Hole

Use this set of commands to transform internal contours into pieces and vice versa.

Operation

Convert Hole To Piece

1. Select the internal you wish to transform into a piece. The internal must be Closed.
2. Select the command.
3. The Internal shape is converted into a new piece.

Convert Hole To Piece With Internals

1. Select the closed internal you wish to transform into a piece.
2. Select the command.
3. The internal shape is converted into a new piece that includes the internal lines.

Convert Piece To Hole

1. Place the piece you wish to convert into an internal on the designated piece.
2. Select the piece to be converted.
3. Select the command.
4. The piece is transformed into an internal contour with a Hole definition.

Two pieces - Front & Pocket

The Pocket piece is converted into a Hole internal in the Front

Convert Piece To Hole With Internals

1. Place the piece with internals you wish to convert to a hole with internals on the designated piece.
2. Select the piece to be converted.
3. Select the command.
4. The piece is transformed into a hole and an internal contour.

Two pieces - Front & Pocket

The Pocket piece is converted into a hole internal in the Front

Piece To Rectangle Hole

Use this command to transform a piece to a block fuse.

1. Select the piece you wish to block.
2. Select the command.
3. Set the Gap between the edges of the piece and the block.
4. Select your preferred options.
5. Click OK to approve the selections.
6. The piece is transformed into an internal contour blocked by a rectangular piece.

The Pocket piece is converted into a Hole internal in the Front

Copy Hole As Piece

1. Select the internal you wish to copy as a new piece. The internal must be Closed.
2. Select the command.
3. The Internal shape is copied to a new piece.

Copy Hole As Piece

1. Select the internal you wish to copy as a new piece. The internal must be Closed.
2. Select the command.
3. The internal shape is copied to a new piece with the internal lines in it.

Copy Piece As Hole

1. Place the piece you wish to copy on the designated piece.
2. Select the piece to be copied.
3. Select the command.
4. The piece is copied as an internal contour with a Hole definition.

Copy Piece As Hole With Internals

1. Place the piece with internals you wish to copy on the designated piece.
2. Select the piece to be copied.
3. Select the command.
4. The piece is copied as a hole and an internal contour.
