PDS:Flip Along Line Tool

This command flips a piece or internals along a select internal line. This can be used for example when creating a lapel, and wanting to check how it will look when folded into the inside (another option, is of course using the Fold In/ Fold Out tools).

Operation

  • Select 'Flip along Line Tool'
  • Select the line that the pieces or internals will be flipped along it.
  • Continue flipping the pieces or internals. When finished press 'Esc' or choose another tool.
1. The piece was created from the lapel
2. Select the line to flip along
3. Click on the new piece
4. The new piece was flipped along the lapel break line...
5. ...and the placed on the correct point

Flip A Piece Along Own Internal Line

9. The whole piece was flipped along the selected line

Flip Internal Objects

10. Select the line to flip along
11. click on the button (internal object)
12. (Ctrl Not pressed) The button as flipped
13. (Ctrl pressed) so the button is duplicated

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Ctrl – Duplicate internal object. When clicking on an internal object, then instead of just flipping in – the original object will remain in place, and a new object will be created
