PDS:Copy/ Paste Seam

Use this command to copy the seam parameters (width and seam type) to the Seam clipboard, in order to paste it easily on other pieces.
Note that if the number of copied grading points is not equal to the number of pasted points an error message is displayed. The Copy Seam action does not override the Windows clipboard.

Operation

1. Invoke the Copy Seam tool.
2. Select a seamed segment by clicking from point to point in a clockwise direction.
3. The Paste Seam tool is automatically activated.
4. Select the segment to which you wish to paste the selected segment.

• To paste the seam in the opposite direction hold down the Shift key while selecting the points.

1. Original pieces. On the left the map zone, on the right – the zone pieces

2. Select the first segment ('1' to '2')

3. Select the second segment, which has the same number of grading points. Go from '1' to '2'.

4. Paste the seam, and repeat the operation for the next piece

7. Correct the seam on the cut line as needed. The pattern is completed.
