PDS:Button Tool

The button object can be used in several ways:

• Create a drill hole on a piece.
• Stripe Matching on a Marker when working with stripe, plaid, or repeated print fabrics.
• Serve as a Stack point for a graded piece.

Icon & Location

• Toolbar: Insert
• Toolbox: Points & Notches

Operation

1. Invoke the 'Button Tool'.
2. Click inside or outside the piece were the button should be added.

Keyboard shortcuts

• Alt (when clicked on an object)– opens the Add Relative Button Dialog (In case it is disabled in the preferences)
• Alt (outside an object) – open the button's properties pane.
• Ctrl – Disregard the Snap definition.

The button is Not snapped to the point
