PDS:Arch And Cut Dart Tool

Cut a dart by giving it a curved shape, while maintaining the segments length.

Operation

1. Invoke that ' Arch And Cut Dart Tool'
2. Select a dart.
3. Left click the mouse button to set the arc of the cutting dart and.

2. Click on the dart tip

3. Manually shape the arc

4. Left click to cut the dart

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Tab – Change the dart shape to be a 'collapsed dart'

5. 'Tab' key pressed

6. The length of both of the segments is equal

• Shift – Allow changing the arc center point.

7. 'Shift' key is pressed

8. Move the mouse from the center in order to reshape a different curve

• Alt – Open the Create Arcs For Darts window. This is a new option for version 11, allowing you to keep using the dart's attributes (drill holes, skip measuring etc.)

9. 'Alt' key is pressed

10. Uncheck the option Remove dart after operation

11. The contour has changed while the dart remained in place
