PDS:Lines Between Segments Tool

Use this tool to create internal parallels from 2 defined Contour (or Internal) segments.

Dialog Box

Dialog Explanation

• Number of lines: Sets the number of internal contours to be created.
• Extend out to contour: Check this box To Extend The Internal Contours up to the contour.
• Lines Attributes / Name: Set the name of the internal segment.
• Lines Attributes / Command: Set the Command of the internal segment.

Operation

1. Invoke the Add Lines Between Segments tool.
2. Select the points for the first and second line (clockwise). A dialog box is displayed.
3. Enter the required values and click OK to perform the action.

Keyboard Shorcuts

• Use the SHIFT key to select Internal Segments.
• Note to Pre-Select the Internal Segment(s), if a Point is connected to other segments.
