Server Side

  1. Pick one computer on your network, to serve as your license manager, this computer can't be shutdown or restarted, restarting it will close all OptiTex applications loaded on the network. Using a server computer can be a good solution but is not mandatory.
  2. Install the latest driver from this link - Latest NetHasp LM
  3. Plug in the USB key. Make sure the LED is on.
  4. Try to open the OptiTex software on the server. If opens - the server was set correctly and you can move to the next step:

Client Side

  1. Install the software normally on any client you wish, the client must be connected to the network, see Version 10 CD Installation Guide.
  2. After the installation Use NetHasp.ini file to direct the application to the right server computer, Download the file from the link and replace with a text editor the IP address (marked with xx.xx.xx.xx) of the server, then place this file in C:\program Files\Optitex10\app folder (on some installation it may be different).
