After adding a dimension to a segment , you can resize the dimension in few ways

Operation

  1. You can resize a dimension manually on the working area and save the change using the mouse click.
  2. You can resize a dimension from the Dimension Properties window.
  3. You can resize a dimension from the Variables window .


Resize Dimension Manually

  1. Connect a dimension to a segment
  2. Select the dimension by left mouse click, keep left mouse button clicked and move mouse left/right or up/down (depends on the dimension type). Once the desired length achieved, press the right mouse click while the left mouse click is still pressed. The dimension was resized to a new length.

Resize Dimension Via Properties Window

  1. Connect a dimension to a segment.
  2. Select the dimension by left mouse click.
  3. Open Dimension Properties window and enter the new desired length in the dimension value text box.Press Enter. The dimension is resized to a new length.

Resize Dimension Via Variables Window

  1. Connect a dimension to a segment.
  2. Select the dimension by left mouse click.
  1. Open Dimension Properties window and rename the dimension.
  2. Open Dimension Variables window. The dimension is listed in the list. Change the value or use the up/down arrows to increase/decrease the dimension length. You can view the resizing behavior instantly in the working area
