Marker:Substitute

From OptiTexHelpEn

Jump to: navigation, search

The Substitute command is used to create new markers with the same placement layout as old markers. For example if a size large pants marker already created, its pieces can be substituted easily, while keeping the old marker layout, with size small of the same or even different pants.

When should 'Substitute' be used and when 'Update Style'?
  • If the some changed were made to the original Style file (i.e. geometry was changed or even some pieces were added or deleted) – use the 'Update Style'.
  • If the same layout of the marker should be replaced by other sizes (most common case), or other pieces – use the 'Substitute'.
