Marker:Optimize Cut Order

This box is used to optimize the numerically controlled (NC) cutting sequence prior for a cut file creation and for creating rules for the software for common line recognition. Please note that Auto-recognition of Shared not part OptiTex basic package and need to purchaser separately.

Menu: Marker> Cut Order> Optimize Cut Order
Menu: Plot> Plot Dialog box > Optimize Cut Order Before Plotting.

Operation

To Optimize Pieces Cutting Sequence for most cutters

1. Open the Optimize Cut Order box from the menu or from the Plot dialog box
2. Select Optimize from the External Contour Cut Direction and make sure that Change Cut Order is checked.
3. Click OK to apply the changes and close the dialog box.
4. Use the View Cut Order mode to view the new cut sequence and to change in manually if needed.

To Defined Shared lines (Common lines) between pieces

1. Open the Optimize Cut Order box from the menu or from the Plot dialog box.
2. Check the box next to Auto-Detecting in the Shared Lines section of th box
3. Use the default values or entered you own values.
4. Click OK to apply the changes and close the dialog box.
5. Use the View Cut Order mode to view the new cut sequence and Select Piece Cut Order to check if a cut line is shared.

Dialog Explanation

Use Frame, X and Y

When Use Frame is enabled, enter the X and Y maximum frame value of your cutter. The cut order numbers will change to meet the frame values. Mose modern cutters do not need this option checked.

Change cut Order

The program Will decide if to cut pieces in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction in order to get the best cut o sequence is possible.

Start from Top of Marker

By Defaults the cutting always start from the bottom left the marker . check this option in order to start from the upper side of the marker.

Choose Start Points

OptiTex is able to choose the ‘Start Point’ according to the location of the piece and its neighbor pieces. New start points for each piece will be determine based on the location of the piece on the marker and to reduce idle time. When this function is on the process might overtire starting points that were assigned in PDS or in marker by Change Cut/Plot Start Point Too.

External Contour Cut Direction

Check the Optimization option for best results . Clockwise and Contour Clockwise will changed the cut direction of the pieces outside contour accordingly.

Shared Lines

Automatic recognition of Shared lines (Common lines) between pieces on the marker according to few defined parameters:

Max. Angle

The maximum Angle between the two lines that they will still be considered as the same cut line.

Max. Distance

How apart the lines can be and still be recognized as the same cut line.

Min. Length

Lines that are shorter then the minimum length will not be shared , Angle between shared lines. If there is an angle what is the maximum Angle that allowed to be recognized as same line.

Do Not Cut Near Marker Limits

OptiTex can remove the cut line from piece that placed on the fabric edge and this way to save cutting time.
