Marker:Change Cut/Plot Start Point Tool

This command is used to show and edit the cut or plot strat point of each piece that on the marker table. The tool enables a quick and easy way to define the cutting starting point of each piece on the marker without prompting a dialog.

Location

  • Menu: View> Show Cut/Plot Start Point
  • Toolbar:General Tools.

Operation

  • Before starting to change manually the cut starting point, make sure that the Marker Cut/Plot Order optimized atomically. Do it by using the Cut/Plot Order Optimization.Check the option "Choose Start Points" and Optimize. Click OK.
  • From the General tools select Show Start Point mode.
  • The cursor will change to indicate that this mode is active and the start points will highlight.
The black point indicates the cut starting point while the little arrow show the perimeter cutting direction.

  • Now you can change and select the desire starting point to each piece. Click on a point to indicate that this is the new starting point.

Note: Only grading point that has a sharp angel can be chosen.

  • Holding the SHIFT key down when selecting a point will change the cut directions of the piece.
  • By using the arrows key on your keyboard you can travel between the points along the external contour.
  • Holding the Ctrl key down when selecting a point will open the Piece Cut Order Optimization dialog box .
The cut point changed direction to counter-clockwise by holding the SHIFT key down when selecting the point.
The start point was changes by either the arrow keys or direct mouse click on the point.
