Marker:Bump/ Cut Lines

Bump lines assists separating areas on the marker, as well as acting as a cut line. By default, the Adjust Tool can also snap ('bump') pieces to the bump lines.

Coordinate/ Line Direction

Set the bump line position along the X & Y Axis.

Hide

Show or hide the bump line, but without deleting it. This can be used when many bump lines are present and just want to be hidden.

Cut

Bump line will become a Cut line, and be cutten in a cutting machine.

No Bump

The bump line is shown, but disregarded by the system when placing pieces, shooting or nesting.

Show/ Hide All

Show or hide all the bump lines at once.

Add/ Delete

Add or delete a new bump line from the dialog. Another option is to drag using the Select Tool a bump line from the boundaries of the marker (top, bottom, left, right).

Vertical Cut Lines For Marker Overcut

Set cutting lines will be cut by a cutting machine outside of the marker boundaries. This option is used when several plies are laid, and wanting to cut all the plies accurately (the last ply can be a bit shifted comparing to the first ply).
Note: There is also a related Plotting/ Cutting setting.

Minimal Cut Lines Segment

Set the minimal length of a cut line that will be actually cut by the cutting machine. This option is used when a cut line goes between to pieces that are placed next to each other.

8. If the marked segment is under the 'Minimal Cut Line', then it will not be cut

Bump Right Click Menu

Right click on existing bump line to bring the menu to view.

Bump/Cut Lines

Quick access to the Bump/Cut Lines dialog box

Delete Bump/Cut Lines

Will delete the select line from the marker

Hide Bump/Cut Lines

Will remove the select the line from a view but the line information will still exist in the Bump/Cut Lines dialog box.

Hide all Bump/Cut Lines

Will remove all lines from a view. line information will still exist in the Bump/Cut Lines dialog box.

Show all Bump/Cut Lines

Will bring all the hidden lines to view.

Lock Bump/Cut Line

Will lock the bump line to it position. This way it will not moved or drag accidentally.

Add Bump Line at the Current Marker End

It will add a bump line at the end of the marker. Can be used with "nesting select pieces" to divided your marker nesting according to sizes or styles.

Cut/Bump

Quick Set of the line attributes without the need of entering that info in the dialog box
