Knowledge:Plot Notch With Contour in PDS

Description

When plotting from PDS Notch are plotted or cut after the main contour, although they are set to plot with contour.

Note that multiple Aladdin network keys cannot be used on a same computer, even if they are for different applications or modules. 
They must be attached to different computers with separate License Managers running.

Symptom

Outside V Notch are cut

Solution

Version 9

To change the default setting (Version 9 only)

This Parameter will define when notch are plotted .

Section : [Optitex PDS]
Keyword : NonPlotNotchesWithContour
Value : 1 or 0  (default = 1 = Plot/Cut notch separately (not with contour) )

Use the batch file attached bellow to automatically update Optikad.ini or Optitex10.ini file . Download (How to launch a batch file)

• Restart PDS before trying to plot again.

Version 10

In Version 10 this setting can be change in the Preferences, Plot notch together with contour

Notes

• After updating the setting, make sure all notch are set to CUT mode and to Plot together with contour
