Knowledge:PDS Message "There Are No Plotting Segments On External Contours Of Pieces"

Description

When trying to plot a pattern from PDS an error message is displayed "There are no plotting segments on external contours of pieces."

Note that multiple Aladdin network keys cannot be used on a same computer, even if they are for different applications or modules. 
They must be attached to different computers with separate License Managers running.

Symptom

One of the piece have a partial cut contour defined

Solution

Select The piece with the problem, and open Cutting Order dialog (under Piece menu), then click restore to reset the default contour.

1. Click Restore to reset

2. Draw/Cut Contour is reset

This issue can be caused by a saving error, Service Pack 10.2 fixes this.
