Knowledge:How To Copy GGT (Gerber) Files

  • This document describes how to copy GGT data, both the old version and new version for use with Optitex Gerber Converter (1)

Gerber Old Version

  1. Run Acumark System Management program.
  2. Select ‘Utilities’ menu.

  3. Select ‘Copy’ menu.

  4. In the ‘Copy’ menu do the following:

  5. Click the right mouse button on the DATA type field And select ‘Alteration , Annotation , Block Buffer , Lay Limits ,LayRule , Model , Order , P-Notch , Piece , RuleTable & Size Code’ data types to be copied. (Select All is also OK)
  6. MAKE SURE COPY COMPONENTS IS SET TO ‘YES’
  7. Select the Source storage area you wish to copy (You may select several source storage area’s).
  8. Select the destination device ‘A’ or an empty storage area.
  9. Click right mouse button on the ‘Old data name’ field and select all the pieces ,orders & models you wish to convert.
  10. Press the ‘Process’ button.

Gerber New Version

  1. 1 – Open AccuMark Explorer.

    • Note that the folder you see in the folder view are only import folders (in

<Drive Letter>\userroot\storage\<your Folder Name>)

  1. 2 - Go to File>>New>>Storage Area… and type the name

of the new folder you want to add to store your project files.

  1. 3 – Select a folder in the folder view and go to

File>>Import… .

  1. 4 - Choose the first file (Zip) you want to import and press

Open.

  1. 5 – A window will open, showing what objects are in the Zip

file, select the one you wish to import .

  1. 6 – To import more files to this project go back to number 3
  2. 7 – When you are done importing your files close AccuMark and

you will find your files in the following folder: <Drive Letter>\userroot\storage\<your Folder Name> , this is the Location for all imported file with accumark.

  1. 8 – To finish the process use OptiTex Convert 1 and convert

your files format into OptiTex format.
