Knowledge:Cannot Run Exporter / Converter On Windows 2000/ XP

Description

When running the Gerber/Lectra PDS Exporter on windows 2000 or Windows XP or older version the following message appears (or similar). This can also occur when launching Converter 1, 2, 3 or 4 on a computer without a full version 10 installed.

Note that multiple Aladdin network keys cannot be used on a same computer, even if they are for different applications or modules. 
They must be attached to different computers with separate License Managers running.

Symptom

Message: This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Windows 2000 message

Message: This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Windows XP message

Solution

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86).
