Import from Adobe Illustrator files

• Use the Import From CAD/CAM Files dialog in order to convert an Adobe Illustrator type file into a PDS style file.
• Requirement: The AI lines need to be clean vector lines to define the shape of the pieces.
• Import from AI files is available for PDS and Marker from version 11 only.

Operation

1. Invoke the Import from CAD/CAM Files command.
2. Browse the path for the File to import.
3. Set the file format to AI.
4. Click 'Ok' or Box.

AI Requirement

• File should be saved with options "Embed ICC Profiles" & "Use Compression" unchecked.
