Dialog Explanation

CAD/ CAM Files To Import

Indicate the number of files for import. Several files can be imported at once.

Browse

Open the directory dialog which allows you to select the required file(s).

Box

Import the whole file, even if they have several pieces -as internal in a single rectangle. This is used when some pieces are not imported correctly, since they have an open contour (or the system thinks they have an open contour). This is also used when importing a whole Marker.

Merge

Merge the imported styles with the open file.

Working Units

Set the working units in which the fields were exported. More advanced file formats such as ASTM do not require that, as this info is already embedded in the file.

File Format

Select the correct CAD File Extension.

Don't Build Sizes

By defaults the import process will join all pieces with the same name to one single piece in different sizes and will display then as grading nest (only if sizes are defined in the import file). Checking this option will import all patterns to separate pieces.

Scale Factor

Change the scale factor. This is used if the imported style is too big or small.

Quantity

Set the Quantity of all the imported pieces.

Material

Set the Material for all pieces which do not have a material defined.
