PDS extension marks that the file was saved in the PDS file format - not the DSN file format. In OptiTex version 10 the PDS and Modulate software share the same file format, thus allowing a better connection between the two software. You may notice that this file format is considerably smaller than the DSN file format. However, like the DSN - it is encrypted.
