A bar-code is a machine-readable representation of information in a visual format on a surface. Most of the ERP or EDI use if for better and faster way to mange inventory, supplies, orders, shipments, etc'
Pieces and Marker information can be transfer into column bar-code stripes which can be plotted or printed as a report.
Note: The Bar-Code module uses a special font file, Code 39.ttf. The font is not included in the windows application and it should be install automatically with the installation of OptiTex. This font must be installed in the Windows Fonts directory. Other Bar code fonts can be installed as well if necessary, in that case the required bar-code file needs to be selected - PDS or Marker.

Operation

  1. Enter a text in any of the fields mentioned above with an exclamation mark (!), in the beginning and in the end.
1. Original piece
2. Enter the value between two exclamation marks
3. The bar-code as appear on the screen

4. The bar-code on an example Excel report
