The Nesting Queue is an Addon for Marker enabling fast and efficient creation of custom markers with specific sized group and order.

  1. Close all running OptiTex software
  2. Download the Zip file from the package on the right.
  3. Copy all files to Plugin folder under OptiTex 10 installation folder, by default c:\program files\optitex10\app\plugin, if the folders does not exist, create it.
  4. Open PDS or Marker and check under Addons menu if the Addon is listed

Requires OptiTex version 10.0.895 and up
  • Security Warning, to disable to security message, choose Always run... from More Options".

[edit] Operation

  1. Open the Nesting queue from Addons menu.
  2. Load a style or marker file
  3. Select the number of bundles and Size for the first group
  4. Click Add New to add a new group and go back to the previous step, or continue to next step (without adding a group).
  5. Type the Marker Width and Length
  6. Select the Nesting option properties.
  7. Click OK to start the marker nesting according to the group order.

Open a marker (.MRK) or Style (.PDS) file and load the size list.

[edit] Add New

Add a new size group.

[edit] Delete

Delete the selected size group.

[edit] Move Up

Move the selected size group one step up, this control the order of the groups on the marker.

Move the selected size group one step down, this control the order of the groups on the marker.

Width
Marker Table Width.
Length
Marker table length.
Plies
Number of plies on the marker.

Algorithm
Nesting Algorithm to use.
Time Limit
Nesting time for each group.
Block Fuse
Define the block location during the nesting
