3D:Fabric Parameters

  • Use the Fabric Parameters dialog to create, save and load Fabric Lists.
  • It is recommended to handle the creation and management of Fabric Lists in the Fabric Editor Utility and use the Fabric Parameters dialog mainly to load these lists to the 3D Properties window.

Fabric List

Shows the fabrics in the current opened Fabric List.

Add Fabric

  1. Click to add a new fabric to the list. This will invoke the 'Add New Fabric Type' window shown bellow.
  2. Name the fabric and click OK to approve.
  3. Notice that the new fabric will have the default Physical Parameters defined.

Cloth Parameters

  • Contains information about the fabric behavior - values of fabric characteristics that define the material.
  • The setting of this tab can either be made manually or automatically by the Converter Tab in the Fabric Editor Utility.
  • The Physical Attributes are the same as the Cloth Parameters found in the 3D Properties window.

Physical Attributes Parameters


Open

  • Use the 'Open' to load a fabric list.
  • No more than one file may be opened at a time.

Save

  • Use the 'Save' command to save a fabric list file that is already opened with a different name.

Close

  • Use the 'Close' command to close the Fabric Parameters dialog.
