3D:3D Notch

Use the 3D Notch Tool to create a notch on a pin or on a line drafted on the 3D model. The 3D Notch will be translated into a 2D Notch after flattening the patch.

Operation

1. Select the 3D Notch Tool.
2. Place the notch either on a flattening pin or on a flattening line.
   • The 3D Notch can be set either before or after the patch was built.
   • To determine Notch Type see 3D Notch Type.
